The fourth generation Range Rover is being hailed by car critics as one of the most complete vehicles ever created. We were tasked with creating an online launch experience to match.
With so many new design features to cover we developed an innovative way to show content through an interactive virtual test drive down the winding roads of Lake Como.
The user is able to stop the film at any time and view vehicle content relevant to the film at that moment. Touch the screen while wading through the river and see the story of the design team testing the Range Rover in water up to the windshield.
We created over 30 bespoke films for the website, all showcasing the craftsmanship behind every aspect of the vehicle’s production. The challenge of building a fully immersive and interactive video across desktop, tablet and mobile devices pushed the limitations of current HTML5 and web video capabilities and was highly lauded by our clients, our target, and the trade press.
